Arthur  "Rudy" RUDUSS
Born 1936.
Ex 3410295, Lance Corporal, a regular soldier from Victoria.  Section 2IC, D&E platoon.

He died of shrapnel wounds to the chest from friendly fire in Phuoc Tuy on 12 June 1966.  His mother did not know her son was in Vietnam.

Also served in Malaya and Borneo before being transferred to 7RAR in 1966, then D&E Platoon.

Douglas Brian  "Doug" PLAIN
Born 1946.
Ex 3789448, Private, a national serviceman from Heidelberg West, Victoria.  Rifleman, D&E platoon.

Accidentally killed in Bien Hoa province when an APC he was riding on was involved in a motor vehicle accident with a large lorry. Was DOA at 24th Evacuation Hospital (American), Long Binh.

Keith Ivan DEWAR
Born 1947.
Ex 5715633, Lance Corporal, a national serviceman from Collie, Western Australia.  Attached to Head Quarters, 1st Australian Task Force.

Died 24 June 1969 when his Armoured Personnel Carrier detonated a mine during land clearing operations.

Thomas Arthur EVANS
Born 1948.
Ex 3794256, Private, a national serviceman from Victoria.  Rifleman, D&E platoon.

Accidentally killed in Phuoc Tuy province when a Land Rover he was driving on Christmas Day, 1969 was involved in a single vehicle accident.

Died 12 June 1971, in the Phuoc Tuy - Long Khanh Province border area when an APC he was riding on was ambushed during Operation "Overlord".

Born 1948.
Ex 218336, Corporal, a regular soldier from Villawood, New South Wales.  Attached to Head Quarters, 1st Australian Task Force, Nui Dat. 

Died 12 June 1971, whilst Crew Commander of Armoured Personnel Carrier “Tango Alpha 84 Bravo” in the Phuoc Tuy - Long Khanh Province border area when the APC he was commanding was ambushed during Operation "Overlord".

Died 12 June 1971, whilst driving Armoured Personnel Carrier, "Tango Alpha 84 Bravo" in the Phuoc Tuy - Long Khanh Province border area during Operation "Overlord". John had been attached to HQ, 1 ATF for a short time during his second tour of duty.
